Himalayan Salt Lamp Care

• Do not wet wipe your Himalayan salt lamp.
  Have a wet salt lamp? Do this:
  1. switch off at the power source
  2. remove the cord and globe
  3. wipe the rock salt with a dry cloth.
  4. replace the globe after it’s dry
  5. switch the lamp back on.
  6. should water drip into the globe connection, replace the cord and globe immediately.
• If your Himalayan Salt Lamp gets a bit dusty or dirty,
  1. switch off at the power source
  2. remove the cord and globe
  3. moisten a cloth (squeeze out) and
  4. rub the dirt off the lamp.
• For heavy, ground in dirt, use a scourer (this won’t hurt the lamp) and allow the lamp to dry in indoor sunlight.
• Keep your lamp switched on continuously to keep it dry – especially in humid/wet conditions. For best results, keep lamp on 24/7.
• Salt lamp globes keep best if the lamp is stationary and not subject to vibration. If the globe blows out often, check it is screwed in firmly and not touching the surface of the lamp.
• Place your salt lamp on a placemat to protect the surface your crystal salt lamp is resting on.
